New regional representatives in Auckland and Taranaki / Whanganui / Manawatū
Posted under: News from the field

We’re welcoming new regional field advisors in Auckland and Taranaki / Whanganui / Manawatū. In Auckland, Kay Willcocks has come on board to replace the departing Margaret Horsburgh. Kay is passionate about tramping, and has been involved in Women’s Outdoor Pursuits, helping more women to embrace the outdoors.
Replacing Rod Smillie in the Taranaki / Whanganui / Manawatū regions is Kevin Ross. Kevin has spent 30 years working in local government, most recently as the chief executive of Whanganui District Council, and in his spare time plays badminton, a sport he formerly represented New Zealand in.
The Commission would like to thank Margaret and Rod for all their hard work over the years of their involvement.
