Share your mapping system feedback and win

Outdoor enthusiasts who have used the Walking Access Mapping System in the past six months are being asked to share their thoughts for the chance to win one of five $100 petrol vouchers.
The incentive is part of an annual online survey being run by the New Zealand Walking Access Commission on the mapping system website (www.wams.org.nz). The Walking Access Mapping System has been designed to help the public identify land in New Zealand that is open to public access.

Commission Chief Executive Mark Neeson said this year's survey would help the Commission to better understand the system's strengths, how people are using it and how the system might be further improved.

“The feedback provided by users through previous years' surveys has driven major changes, including an improved interface, a separate version of the system for smartphone and tablet PC users, and new functionality allowing other organisations to display their outdoor information for public view.

“I encourage all Walking Access Mapping System users to visit the Walking Access Mapping System site and to share their thoughts again by completing this year's survey.â€
