More enhancements for Commission websites

Increasing the availability of information and creating a more user-friendly experience have been top of mind for the Commission during its latest round of website improvements.

These improvements include enhancements to the Case Notes section of www.walkingaccess.govt.nz, as well as planning work for an upgrade to the Walking Access Mapping System later this year.

Chief Executive Mark Neeson says the changes will provide additional value to the Case Notes section and ensure the Walking Access Mapping System remains a valuable resource for people looking to access the outdoors.

The enhancements to the Case Notes include the addition of 30 more examples of the Commission's work. Advanced search options have also been introduced to allow users to filter cases by type and region. This allows users to view all access dispute resolution examples on the West Coast, for example, or all Enhanced Access Fund case examples across New Zealand.
