Enhanced Access Fund recipients – next round now accepting applications

The Commission has awarded six grants from the Enhanced Access Fund:

  • $5000 to the Kauri Coast Promotion Society to support signage at two historic river walks in Dargaville.
  • $5000 to the NZ Horse Network to support surveying and legal costs to secure enduring access to the Otekaieke Bridle Trail in Otago.
  • $5000 to the Clevedon Community and Business Association for information and legal costs on a trails project in Clevedon.
  • $1000 to Fish and Game Hawke’s Bay for angler access signage at the Tukituki River.
  • $10,000 to the Dunedin Tunnel Trails Trust for surveying and legal costs on the Dunedin Tunnels Trail.
  • $3240 to the Motu Trails Charitable Trust for surveying on the Whakaumu Trail near Opotiki.

Applications are now open for the next funding round. Up to $100,000 will be available in two rounds, with the first round closing on 30 September 2017.
