Dozens farewell Mark and Maggie

The New Zealand Walking Access Commission farewelled retiring chief executive Mark Neeson and outgoing board member Maggie Bayfield at a function in Wellington on 17 February.

Speaking to a group of more than 30 chief executives and senior managers from government agencies and recreation and landholder groups, New Zealand Walking Access Commission Chair John Forbes thanked Mr Neeson and Ms Bayfield for their work.

“Mark and Maggie have both been with the Commission since its establishment. Through their efforts, the Commission is in a good place, clear in its values and well positioned to ensure it can continue to play a leading role in retaining and enhancing access to the outdoors.â€
