Website goes mobile

Smartphone and tablet PC users will now find it easier to use the New Zealand Walking Access Commission's website, thanks to the creation of a mobile-friendly version.

The new mobile site, viewable on smartphones and tablets from today, re-aligns and resizes walkingaccess.govt.nz for users who want to browse the site on smaller screen sizes.

Commission Chief Executive Mark Neeson said the changes to the website were designed make it easier for the public to interact with the Commission using their chosen mobile device.

“A growing number of New Zealanders use mobile devices to browse the internet and interact with the Commission, so it makes sense for us to cater for their needs and make it easy for them to use our services.â€
