Makeover for Commission's website

The New Zealand Walking Access Commission website has been given a makeover to make reading easier and to better highlight the most popular sections of the site.

The website changes follow improvements to the Commission's Accessing New Zealand newsletter, which is now available in both print and e-newsletter form.

Commission Chief Executive Mark Neeson said the changes were the result of feedback from people who responded to the Colmar Brunton Walking Access Survey, conducted in February, and a smaller survey distributed by email with the Commission's July newsletter.

“The findings of both of those surveys suggested that many people who interact with us want to receive their information via email or online. These improvements will boost the quality of our communications and make information about the outdoors easier to obtain.â€
